In addition, members of our team have obtained IPC 7711/7721 certification. Heiyo is comitted to compliance with Section 1502 of Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010. Please see our policy regarding this commitment. Heiyo extends that same commitment to our RoHS II & REACH compliance policies. Heiyo uses Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) as an accurate and efficient means to verify SMT placement. With the laser add-on, we are able to scan a BGA to verify that it is level and at the correct height. A fluctuation in height could indicate reflow errors, but the use of the laser height check will allow us to catch those types of defects and fix them. In addition to the laser height check, we also use x-ray to verify that the balls under the BGA have properly collapsed, as well as check for bridging. We have the ability to capture the image from the x-ray for customer records if required. |
